Christmas and New Year’s days are a time to be together as a family and enjoy the company of our loved ones. Eat plenty, drink plenty and go out on your bike when possible. But not this year. This year it’s time to change our Christmas habits and stay away from our loved ones to avoid the spread of COVID19, and to keep us all alive until the long-awaited vaccine arrives.
So there is no choice but to enjoy the holiday in a different way, safely and without putting anyone at risk. In other words, riding a bicycle. At Santafixie, where we obviously care about you and your health, we’ve decided to provide you with extra motivation to stay active at Christmas. We have decided to launch the Santafixie Fuck 2020 Challenge and to tell 2020 to… go far away.
To participate in the “Santafixie Fuck 2020 Challenge” you must join our club, Santafixie Cycling Club, in Strava and register all the bike activities you do during the week from December 28th to January 3rd with the label #SantafixieFuck2020 in the title. The more and further you ride and the higher you go, the more chances you have to win one of the 3 fantastic prizes in one of our 3 categories:
Categories:
- Tireless Commuter: The Santafixer with the longest total distance ridden during the week.
- Sky Climber: The Santafixer with the greatest total positive difference in altitude accumulated during the week.
- Grand Fondier: The Santafixer with the longest single activity during the week.

- Grand Fondier: Pit Viper Radical Polarized glasses

In addition, we will hold a prize draw for a pair of Pit Viper The Miami Nights glasses among all participants who upload a photo to Instagram with the challenge and the #SantafixieFuck2020 tag!
Conditions:
- Activities registered both in the real world and on virtual platforms such as Zwift or Bkool are computed.
- Valid only for residents in the European Union.
- It is mandatory to have a public profile on Strava.
- One participant can only win in one category. The second position holder will get the prize if there’s the same winner for different categories.
- The winners will be announced on Monday 4 January 2021.
- Santafixie workers are excluded from the challenge.
