This 2017 the Red Hook Crit is celebrating its 10th birthday. 10 years, during which it has become the most important track bike criterium in the world.
The criterium began in the Red Hook district, in Brooklyn (New York), and year after year rising in importance and number of participants. Little by little they expanded their reach and began in new cities attracting more racers to participate in the high speed urban fixed gear circuit races.

29th of April: Brooklyn, NY, U.S.A.
22nd of July: London, United Kingdom.
2nd of September: Barcelona, Spain.
14th of October: Milan, Italy.
Every year it gets more competitive. Professional racers are starting to join the Criteriums. The teams are always getting stronger and more organised during the qualifying periods. Every race speed records are broken. This trend looks to be continuing this year, and the cyclists can’t just rest on their laurels, they have to train hard, be in the best shape possible to even have a chance at winning a podium position.
