You didn’t expect it, but here it is: State Bicycle Co.‘s first road bike. Under the name 4130 Road, because of the Chromoly 4130 frame on which it has been mounted, it is a classic-style road bike with 8 speeds. The shifter on the frame, the chrome elements such as stem, crankset and headset and the synthetic leather saddle give it a vintage touch, slightly unusual with State bikes.
If you live in an area with slopes and have always wanted to have a State, the 4130 Road is the answer from the Arizona brand to the demand of cyclists like you. It is configured with an 11×28 cassette and a 44-tooth chainring, a relationship that will respond perfectly on any slope. The fork has a generous free space that fits tyres up to 32mm. It also has holes for bottle holders and for mounting front and rear racks, a very interesting option if you are planning long journeys.
Designed for urban journeys but also for road trips, its versatility and value for money stand out as the final price is just £549. State’s first road bike is available in two colours, Americana and Black & Metallic and in five different sizes: 49, 52, 55, 59 y 62. The weight of size 55 with pedals is 9.9 kg. You can find both at Santafixie.
